  • A LEGACY OF INNOVATION

In 1961, BB&T purchased the 333 Fayetteville Street site for its “million dollar plan” to erect an iconic, modern tower on the historic site. The building project was Raleigh’s first significant foray into the modernist architecture movement. Famed New York City architect Emery Roth & Sons was brought in to design the building, which was inspired by Mies van der Rohe’s iconic Seagram Building in New York City.

This property dared to define the Raleigh skyline. A bold statement of modernist architecture, it was a city-first, mirroring the iconic Seagram Building. When the massive “million dollar plan” was completed in 1965, the new building stood as Raleigh’s tallest skyscraper at 15 stories high and is a towering testament to Raleigh’s evolution.

Today, as downtown Raleigh continues to flourish and grow around it, this historic landmark seamlessly blends its storied past with the demands of a modern workforce. Revitalized with cutting-edge technology and amenities, 333 Fayetteville offers an exceptional workspace where tradition meets innovation and stands ready to serve the next generation of innovators and leaders making their mark on the city.

We currently have 8 people working in Raleigh after starting with just 3. This location has allowed us to access a talent pool that we previously could not tap in to. We have since leased another office within the building right across the hall and hope to continue expanding in the near future. Being centrally located to everything including so much parking, restaurants, banks and gyms is a huge sell for us and assists in attracting talent.
